Arnaud Boutin is an illustrator, art director, and director. Trained at ENSAAMA and Gobelins in Paris, he develops distinctive visual universes spanning publishing, advertising, fashion, and editorial projects. His work is defined by a strong sense of narrative, meticulous attention to detail, and a refined visual style that combines creativity, elegance, and storytelling.
He collaborates with prestigious brands and institutions, including Hermès, the Michelin Guide, and Vogue, creating projects that are both visually striking and conceptually sophisticated. His illustrations have been featured in international publications such as New York Magazine, The Strategist, and M Le Monde, reflecting a practice that bridges artistic vision and craft.
A prolific author and illustrator, Arnaud Boutin has published acclaimed books with Gallimard, Sarbacane, and La Martinière. His work spans children’s picture books, illustrated novels, and editorial illustration, demonstrating the same finesse, sensitivity, and inventiveness across all formats.
After several years in New York, he is now based in France, where he continues to explore new creative territories, combining illustration, direction, and design to produce work that is both original and timeless.
